Vinayaka Mission Institute All India Entrance Examination
Vinayaka Mission Institute All India Entrance Exam is an entrance exam conducted by Vinayaka Mission University for admitting students in to its various Medical and Dental Courses.
Vinayaka Mission's University was founded in 2001and it was recognized by Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India with the recommendations of UGC (Established Under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956).
Selection of candidates will be made on merit, based on the marks secured in the Entrance Examination conducted by this University on All India basis.
VMI AIEE 2011 Eligibility Criteria
For MBBS Program :
Candidate should have passed 10 + 2 (Academic) or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and English as subjects, with pass in each of them, obtaining a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) put together. For SC/ST/OBC this minimum aggregate mark is 40%.
For BDS Program :
Applicant should have passed 10 + 2 (Academic) or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and English as subjects, with pass in each of them, obtaining a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) put together. For SC/ST/OBC this minimum aggregate mark is 40%.
Applicant should have attained minimum 17 years of age at the time of application.(on or before 31.12.2011).
VMI AIEE 2011 Application Procedure
Applicants can obtain the application form through post by sending a DD for Rs. 1100/- drawn in favour of “VINAYAKA MISSIONS UNIVERSITY”, payable at Salem / Chennai along with a request letter for application form giving complete address and the course name.
Applicants can also obtain the application forms directly from the office by paying cash Rs. 1000/- in person at any one of the following addresses.
The duly completed application form for entrance exam should be submitted to the following address on or before the last date.
