Bhaskar Genius Scholarship Examination 2011 gives a chance to meritorious students from class I to class XII of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh to win scholarships up to worth Rs 1 Crore.

The model question paper of Dainik Bhaskar Scholarship Exam for different classes are given in the tables below.The syllabus mailnly comprises of general awareness and IQ related questions.They do not typically cover the school sylabbus nither they takethe grades into consideration.Thia test is to find the young genious and the young minds who can think out of the box.The students can make use of the sample papers given below for exam prepration and can solve more questions of the same pattern.The dainik bhaskar sample papers for all classes are provided here. For higher classes the sample papers are divided into sections for specific topics and subjects

The sample papers are made in the same type as the original exam .There are multiple choice questions which are asked.That means one question will have multiple choices,the student is supposed to mark the right answer.

Who all can register?

A Any individual within the ages of 5 yrs to 18 years and studying at any school located within the list of locations (within the state) is eligible to apply for this examination. The examination is open for students from class 1st to 12th.  

Where can I get the application form?

Online - You may take a print out of the same on an A4 sized paper and follow the instructions of filling in the application form. You can then deposit the form manually at any of our Bhaskar offices listed on the form. We are also in the process of making this form online so that the payments can be done through Credit / Debit Card and the receipt would also be available online.

The application form is regularly appearing in all editions (except Jharkhand) of Dainik and Divya Bhaskar. Besides, it would also be appearing in the forthcoming editions of our supplements - Madhurima, Bal Bhaskar, Young Bhaskar. Please procure your regular copy of Dainik / Divya Bhaskar and its supplements from your newspaper vendor.

What is the last date of application form?

The application forms would be accepted till the 31st of March at any of the scheduled Bhaskar offices at Bhaskar Genius desk.  

When would the examination be conducted?

The exam would be held on a Sunday which would be either 24th of April or 1st of May. However, the Dainik Bhaskar Group reserves the right to further postpone these dates which could be due to any unforeseen reasons like natural calamities or administrative orders. The Dainik Bhaskar Group would however take utmost care to inform its participants about the revised schedule in such a case.  

What would be the pattern of examination?

The examination would be conducted to screen-out the young geniuses irrespective of their grades or marks in school. The pattern would not be the one being provided in schools but would be based on the general awareness and group of fundamentals that an individual has. The curriculum would definitely be corresponding to the general pattern of studies and exercises being conducted by the schools. The pattern of examination as per the class is as follows:

The overview of the procedure of examination is mentioned here. The questions would be objective-type in nature with multiple-choice options to answer. The methods to answer the questions would be:  

» For class 1st to 3rd – You have to simply tick the right option  

» For class 4th and above – There would be an OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet where the participants have to shade the correct option.  

What if I am studying in one city but would like to appear for the Bhaskar Genius examination from another city?

You have an option of choosing any location from where you would like to appear for your examination. While filling in the form, please mention the precise Exam Centre Code from the list of exam centre codes available on this website. However, to appear for Bhaskar Genius Scholarship Examination in cities other than your own state, you have to apply by sending the completed application form (with fees through demand draft) to the state headquarters.

What would be the language of instruction in the examination?

The medium of instructions would be bi-lingual. In Hindi-speaking states i.e. Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh it would be English and Hindi, while for Gujarat it would be English and Gujarati.  

When would the results be announced?

Results would be announced within 4 weeks of the date of examination.
