Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC)
Rajasthan Public Service Commission Rajasthan Public Service Commission came into existence on 16th August, 1949. Sir S.K.Ghosh was selected as the first chairperson of RPSC. Presently Shri C.R. Chaudhary is the chairperson of RPSC and there are 6 members of the commsion.
Functions and Duties of RPSC
Major function of Rajasthan Public Service Commission to conduct examinations for appointment to the services of the state. In addition, of this RPSC give the consultancy to government on many major issues. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission notifies all exams and departmental exams in newspapers, website of commission or in case of departmental exam concern department.
Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is conducting examination for appointment to various services of the Rajasthan State. RPSC conducts various examinations for different positions. A list of examination conducted by RPSC is given below

RPSC 2011 Educational Qualification
Grade-II Teacher in Secondary Education Department
Subject: Science
Graduate or equivalent examination with zoology, Botany and Chemistry as optional Subjects.)
Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by Government of Rajasthan.)
Subject: English, Hindi and Math
Graduate or equivalent examination with concerned subject as optional subject.
Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by Government of Rajasthan.
Subject: Social Science
Graduate or equivalent examination with at least two subjects out of the subjects- History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Philosophy as optional subjects.
Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by Government of Rajasthan.)
RPSC 2011 Application Fee
Rs.250/- (Rs.150/- for OBC of non-creamy layer, Rs.50/- for SC/ST)

RPSC 2011 Selection Procedure
Senior Teacher (Grade-II) Secondary Education Competition Examination 2011
PAPER – I
1. The question paper will carry a maximum of 200 marks.
2. Duration of examination will be 2.00 hours.
3. The question paper will carry 100 multiple choices questions.
4. Subjects covered in the Question Paper and the weight age of marks for the respective subjects:
(i) Geographical, Historical, Cultural and General Knowledge of Rajasthan 80 marks
(ii) Current Affairs of Rajasthan 20 marks
(iii) General knowledge of world and India 60 marks
(iv) Educational Psychology 40 marks
Total 200 marks
5. The syllabus covered and scope of paper will be informed to the candidates within the stipulated time once it is finalized.
PAPER – II
1. The question paper will carry a maximum of 300 marks.
2. Duration of question paper will be 2 Hours 30 Minutes
3. The question paper will carry 150 questions of multiple choices.
4. The subjects covered in Paper II are as follows:-
(i) Knowledge of secondary and senior secondary standard about relevant subject matter 180 marks
(ii) Knowledge of graduation standard about relevant subject matter 80 marks
(iii) Teaching methods of relevant subject 40 marks
Total 300 marks
5. The syllabus covered and scope of the question paper will be informed to the candidates within the stipulated time once it is finalized.
