UGC NET Sociology Paper II Question Paper

UGC NET is to determine the candidate with minimal standard for the entrants in the research and teaching profession. National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grant Commission (UGC) conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) for selecting eligible candidates for Lectureship in Universities and Colleges. The NET exam is conducted twice a year i.e. in the month of June and December. There are three papers in UGC NET Examination. The examination is held in two sessions. The first session consists of two papers viz. Paper I and Paper II. The second session consists of Paper III.

In December 2009 negative marking was introduced. About 0.5 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. This year there is no negative marking for wrong answer. The same pattern we can expect for 2011 June examination. Try to attempt all the questions in the paper

Sociology Paper II

UGC NET Sociology Paper II is an objective type of questions. Questions with four possible answer options. Students have to mark their answer in the OMR sheet provided to them. There is no negative marking in the test. Question with multiple answers will be treated as wrong answer. Each question carries 2 marks. Total marks of Sociology Paper II question paper is 100. The time duration to complete the paper is 1 hour fifteen minutes.

There will be multiple choice, matching type, true or false and assertion reasoning type of questions. The topics included in the Psychology Paper II are nature of sociology, basic concepts, social structure, social group, social institutions, socialization, social stratification, social change, structural and functional theory of sociology.
