Mumbai University, BE, 2nd Sem., Applied Mathematics-II (Maths 2) Question Papers

BE Second semester in Applied Mathematics 2 (Maths 2) question papers of the Mumbai University is of duration 3 hours. Candidates will also be allotted with full fifteen minutes extra time before the exam starts for reading the question paper and clarifying any doubts regarding the question paper if required. The total marks for this paper is 100.

The question paper consists of four sections as Section 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Section 1 of the paper is compulsory and all the questions from that section have to be answered by the candidates. This Section consists of one question which is divided into five sub questions.

In section 2, the candidates have to answer any six questions from the given nine questions.

Section 3 contains twenty questions and the candidates have to answer any thirteen of them.

Section 4 of the paper consists of five questions and any three questions have to be answered by the candidates.

Section 1 of the paper is for a total of five marks. Section 2 of the paper is for 12 marks, and section 3 is for 65 marks and Section 4 of the paper is for 18 marks.

In case the candidate answers more than the required number of questions, then the questions that give the maximum aggregate will be accepted.

Candidates are advised to go through Mock based as well as previous year question papers to secure high marks in the exam. Candidates are advised to read the instruction given in the question paper carefully before answering.

Engineering students of the Mumbai University in their 2nd semester of the course have to answer Applied Mathematics paper-2. Maths paper is very important in Engineering as it plays an important role.

This subject is purely mathematical and few of the topics included in the subject are straight lines, circle, integration, differentiation, triangles etc.
