JCECE Question Paper

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) is one of the competitive entrance exam conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board.  Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination held in 2 stages i.e., Preliminary stage and Final stage.

Preliminary stage JCECE Question paper comprises of total 200 multiple choice questions with 4 options to be solved in 2 and a half hour. JCECE question paper comprises of 4 sections Viz., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and Biology. There is 1/4^th of negative marking for any wrong answers. Once clearing the JCECE Preliminary exam candidates are allowed to appear Final exam.

The Final exam of JCECE question paper comprises of 2 papers. First paper of JCECE question paper included questions on Physics and Chemistry. Each section had 100 questions to answer within 3 hours. The time allowed will be of 2 and a half hour. The second paper of JCECE question paper comprises of 2 sections i.e., Biology and Mathematics and it had 100 questions to be answers within 1 and a half hour duration.

Physics section JCECE question paper had questions on General Properties of Matter, Heat, Measurement and Kinematics, Mechanics, Wave motion, Sound, Light, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Oscillations, Thermodynamics, Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism, Electron Physics, Radiation, Optics, Semiconductor Devices, Atomic Physics, Electrostatics, and Current Electricity.

Chemistry section of JCECE question paper comprises questions from Basic Concepts and Atomic Structure, Periodic Properties of Elements and Hydrogen, S-Block, P-Block, D-Block and F-Block Elements, Electrochemistry, Chemical Equilibrium, Stereochemistry, Laws of Gases, Functional Groups Containing Oxygen, Halogens, Nitrogen, Polymers, Purification and Characterization of Organic Compounds, Chemical Kinetics, Redox Reactions, and Environmental Chemistry.

Mathematics section comprises questions from Complex Numbers, Sequences and Series, Permutations, Combinations, Binomial Theorem, Sets, Relations and Functions, Matrices and Determinants, Linear equations, Boolean Algebra, Trigonometric functions, Three Dimensional Geometry, Statistics, Vectors, Differential Equations, Integrals, Lines, Circles and Conic sections.

Biology section of JCECE question paper included the questions on the topics such as Cell, Ecosystem, Photosynthesis, Transpiration, Origin of Life, Physiology of Plants, Cell Differentiation, Physiology of Animals, Genetics, Mutation, Systematic study of Algae, Bacteria, and Fungi etc, Reproduction, Biodiversity and Conservation, Animal Tissues, and Organic Evolution.
