IIFT 2007 Question Paper
IIFT 2007 question were on the same lines as 2006 the only difference in IIFT 2007 question paper had only one correct answer unlike the last where there were multiple right answers. Students used to the CAT exam pattern would have certainly found IIFT 2007 question paper to be a lengthy one.
Features of IIFT 2007 question paper
- Total number of sections in the paper was four which were subdivided into two more sections except in General Knowledge section.
- Number of options for each question was four
- Total number of questions in paper was one hundred fifty
- All the questions had only one right answer
- Each incorrect answer carried 1/3rd negative mark
- Sectional cut offs were not mentioned in the paper

Part 1: Reading Comprehension
Reading Comprehensions were passages were quite simple and easy; a student should have been able to answer just with a glance. A change seen in IIFT 2007 question paper were questions based on matching items. The key to answer these questions to just read the options carefully as deletion or addition of a word too mattered the most.

Part 2: English Usage
Questions in this section in IIFT 2007 question were to test the language and vocabulary level of difficulty ranged from average to easy. It was highly evident that questions in these sections clearly tested the vocabulary skills of the students. Emphasis was laid on homophone type of questions; this was a scoring area for students in IIFT 2007 question paper.

General Awareness section of IIFT 2007 Question Paper
This section proved to be easy for students proficient in subjects such as Political science, Current affairs, Geography etc. emphasis was on static knowledge and current GK rather than business GK. An attempt of ten questions would be considered good in this section. Overall the difficulty level in this section was moderate to difficult.

Part 1: Quantitative Ability
This section in IIFT 2007 question paper seemed as a relief to students the questions in this section were from airthematic to some topics related to complex numbers and trigonometry. Few questions in this section were repeated from older CAT exam papers.

This section in IIFT 2007 appeared tough involving lot of calculations a lot of data was given with each questions which seemed like mere statements to be verified. This section was a mix of difficult and tough questions. No questions in this section seemed to be simple.

This section in particular was a cake walk for students after a facing and solving a very tough Data interpretation section. Though it was a lengthy section it was easy.

Part 2: Decision Making
This section witnessed new type of questions in IIFT 2007 question paper seems like IIFT is taking a cue from XAT exams. Reading the passages carefully was the only key to these questions. In order to crack the application based questions students had to logically analyze and arrive at conclusions. Students could avoid this part and could solve easier questions in this section.

Overall IIFT 2007 Question Paper was not very time consuming and a fair amount of questions were easy to solve compared to the previous year. On a range of difficulty IIFT 2007 question paper was moderate to difficulty. A score of 35+ would be considered as a good score.
