The major difference between ICSE Class 10 Mathematics 2010 Question Paper and ICSE Class 10 Mathematics Previous Year Question Paper was that partition of the questions into different sections and the allotted marks for sub questions.

The ICSE Class 10 Mathematics 2010 Question Paper totally carries 80 marks. ICSE Class 10 Mathematics 2010 Question Paper was divided into Two Partitions Section A and Section B.

Section A in ICSE Class 10 Mathematics 2010 Question Paper contains 4 main questions where main question carry 10 marks each. The total marks for Section A are 40 marks. Section B contains 6 questions which in turn have sub questions and marks are allotted accordingly. In section B 6 questions are provided student must answer 4 questions rest 3 questions will be choices.

Each section from ICSE Class 10 Mathematics 2010 Question Paper should be answered as per mentioned below criteria.

1) All the questions must be answered from the Section A.

2) A total of four questions must be attempted from the Section B.

The answers to ICSE Class 10 Mathematics 2010 Question Paper must be written on the paper provided separately. Students were not allowed to write during first 15 minutes. This 15 minutes time should be spent in reading the question paper.
