Delhi College of Engineering Common Entrance Exam (DCE CEE) 2011 Question Paper
DCE CEE 2011 has a discrete place among entrance examination for Engineering in India. It is a highly competitive exam. It is an entrance examination for admission to Bachelors of Engineering courses in Delhi College of engineering and Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology. DCE CEE 2011 exam is the most expected entrance examination for the students of Delhi.
Analysis of DCE CEE Paper 2011
DCE CEE 2011 will consist of 60 Multiple Choice Questions from each of the subject that are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with total time duration of duration is of 3 hours that is 180 minutes. Syllabus of DCE CEE is same as that of CBSE 10+1 and 10+2 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) syllabus, but the pattern and difficulty level would be different. There will begiven four options for each question and student has to mark the right answer.For each right answer candidate will get 4 marks and for wrong answer there will be negative marking of 1 mark.
- Section I: Physics Paper
Physics paper of DCE CEE 2011 exam will have the questions of theory as well numerical. The candidates should take the Physic Paper very seriously as it is very conducive to determine the overall rank of the candidate. The question paper will contain 60 questions (MCQ) and candidates will be required to attempt each question within 1 minute.
- Section II: Chemistry Paper
Chemistry Paper of DCE CEE 2011 is expected to have easy as well difficult problems. It will contain question from basics to core level, which makes chemistry paper to judge the knowledge of candidates for basic to core concepts. Chemistry paper will also contain 60 objective question and candidates will have to manage the time to attempt each question in 1 minute.
- Section III: Mathematics Paper
Mathematics Paper of DCE CEE 2011 will be designed to test the mathematical skills of the candidates. It also emphasizes on the general application of mathematics in different field. Calculus and Co-Ordinate Geometry are expected to be very important topics in the question paper. Maths paper will comprises of 60 questions of easy, medium and difficult level of total of 240 marks. Candidates will be required to attempt the each question in 1 minute.
Candidates need to have higher calculus for solving the paper for numerical and mathematics section. Candidates are advised to apply for logical reckoning which will help them to reduce the level of calculation and increase the speed of attempting the questions and hence improve overall rank.Summarized table with section of DCE CEE Paper 2011 and details are given as below:

DCE CEE rank is considered on aggregate marks obtained in three sections. Expected cut off for DCE CEE 2011 as CEE Rank < 1200 for 300 to 500 marks.
