Annamalai University M.Com Accounting And Finance First Year Question Paper

Annamalai University is best known for its distant learning courses. It offers a distant education for almost each and subject that are offered at the university level. M.Com degree for Accounting And Finance, is one of the several esteemed courses, that are offered by Annamalai University. The course is divided in two years. The first year of M.Com teaches five main subjects like, Investment and Portfolio Management, Managerial Finance, Costing Method, Financial Accounting and Management of Financial services.

Each of the papers carries 100 marks. Therefore, the first year examination is conducted out of 500 marks. A paper is divided into two sections. Section A and Section B. Section A comprises of eight questions, out of which the candidate has to attempt five. Each question carries eight marks. This section accounts for 40 marks. In Section B, there are five questions and the candidate has to attempt three. Each question carries 20 marks and the entire section commands 60 marks.

The answers in this section are mainly elaborate and descriptive in nature. However, some of the questions in this section may also be in the form of mathematical problems. In certain cases, they may also be in the form of short notes, where a few topics under one single question, have to be enumerated briefly.
