AIIMS 2010 Question Paper

AIIMS Entrance Exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences at the all India level is considered as one of the toughest entrance exams in India. AIIMS May 2010 Paper it was really an exhilarating experience for all of us. This paper can undoubtedly be termed as the “craziest” of the AIIMS Paper till now. So many repeats were there that we had to literally hunt for the new questions. But then again, those Profs at AIIMS know very well how to fool the students. Some questions though looked easy, had some twists in them.

The question paper of the entrance exam is designed to test the candidate’s academic and general knowledge. AIIMS Entrance Exam is a single stage examination. The question paper consists of 200 objective and multiple choice Assertion reason type questions which is carry 1 mark for each answer. The question paper is divided into four parts, for physics 60 questions, for chemistry 60 questions, for biology 60 questions and for G.K 20 questions. Average wise tine is 63 second for each question. For physics, chemistry and biology question level is L2 but for G.K question level is L1.Each question has four choices and the candidate has to choose the right option from them.

The total time duration is three and a half hours so students have to answers the entire question within this time. The medium of the question paper is either in English or Hindi which the students have to choose from before attempting the entrance test. The choice of the medium cannot be changed after that. There is a provision of negative marking, that is, the candidate is awarded with one mark for each correct answer but one-third mark is deducted for each wrong answer. The number of seats offered by the institute every year is 50, for admission to the MBBS course. AIPMT 2010 expected cutoff would be around 375 Marks.
