Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (MP PMT)
Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (MP PMT) is an entrance examination conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal for admission of students in to its various medical dental courses like MBBS/BDS/BVSc. & AH in the Government and Private Colleges of Madhya Pradesh.
In Madhya Pradesh there are seven medical and dental Government colleges in which admission of students will be done through MP PMT entrance test.
The number of seats in Government Colleges :
For MBBS : 720
For BDS : 40
The Number of seats in Private colleges:
For MBBS : 210
For BDS : 428
MP PMT 2012 Eligibility criteria
Applicant should be a Citizen of India.
Applicant should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
Applicant should have attained atleast 17 years of age as on 1st July.
Applicant should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks (40% for Reserved Category) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates who are appearing for 10+2 examination in 2011 are also eligible to apply MP PMT.
MP PMT 2012 Application Procedure
Applicants can obtain the MP PMT Application Form from the Board Counter and from the designated Sale Centers. The list of application sale centre is available on the website www.vyapam.nic.in of the Board.

Application fee for general Category and OBC candidates is Rs. 700/-
And for SC & ST is Rs. 350/-
Applicants can also obtain the application form through post by sending the examination fees demand draft along with the request letter to the application form. DD should be drawn in the favor of Professional Examination Board, Bhopal. Rs. 50/- should be added to the examination fees as postage charges.

MP PMT 2012 Examination Pattern
The selection of the candidates for the admission of the medical, dental and pharmacy courses in Madhya Pradesh is through the MP PMT exam and the interview. The question paper is objective type. The exam consists of 200 questions and a total mark of the exam is 1200. The time allotted for each paper will be 2 hours. The medium of the questions are in English. Paper I contains questions from Physics and Chemistry and Paper II is to evaluate candidates’ knowledge in the subject of Biology and Zoology. There is no negative marking for wrong answer. After this written test the selected candidates have to attend a personal Interview. The candidates eligible for joining the courses are selected on the basis of their performance in the written test, interview and their past academic records. The pattern is given below,
