Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE)
Kerala Law Entrance Examination is conducted by the commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram. This exam is conducted to pursue graduate and post graduate courses in various law colleges in Kerala. The admission to the various courses such as the 5 year L.L.B course, 3 year L.L.B course and 2 year L.L.M course is based on the rank of the candidate in the entrance examination.
For being eligible to appear for the exams a candidate has to fulfill certain eligibility criteria as notified by the entrance commissioner from time to time.

KLEE 2011 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should be an Indian national of Kerala state.
Applicant should not less than 18 year old, No relaxation of the minimum age will be allowed. There is no upper age limit.
In the case of candidates who have undergone school studies in Kerala, a course certificate from the Head of the educational institution(s) in Kerala, to prove that the candidate has undergone his/her studies in Kerala for not less than 5 (five) years within a period of 12 (twelve) years, immediately prior to the completion of the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
A certificate from the Village Officer/ Tahsildar to show that he/she or his/her mother/father was born in Kerala.
For 5 year LLB Course:
Candidate should have passed his senior secondary school education or its equivalent examination from Kerala or any other examination board accredited through Kerala University with minimum 40% aggregate marks.
For 3 year LLB Course:
Applicant should have passed his bachelor degree not less than 40% aggregate marks from an accredited university or Kerala university.
For 3 year LLB Course:
Candidate should have passed his 5 or 3 year LLB program from the University of Kerala or other accredited university are eligible to appear in the test.
KLEE 2011 Application Procedure
Application forms and Prospectus can be downloaded from the official website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinationswww.cee-kerala.org.
Application fee for General candidates is Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred Only) and for SC/ST Candidates the application fee isRs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only).
Keralites residing inside Kerala State can pay the Application fee in any branch of the State bank of Travancore using the Challan provided on page No.7 of the application form.
The original Challan contained in page No.7 shall be attached with the application form duly signed and authorized by Bank authorities on remittance of application fees.
Keralites residing outside Kerala State, can pay the application fee by attaching a Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

KLEE 2011 Selection Procedure
Selection is made through the Entrance Examination, conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikkode.
Test will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. The test paper includes 4 sections which cover General Knowledge, English and Aptitude for Legal Studies.
