Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance exam
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam (KIITEE) is an entrance exam held by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology for the admitting students to B.Tech Regular and Lateral Entry programs.
Kalinga Institute was established in the year 1992 as a small training institute. Now it has grown to a standard of largest universities of India with strength of 15,500 students. They have regular entry course of 4 year B.Tech Program. Along with this they also provide lateral entry to the Diploma holders directly to the second year of B.Tech.
They have 23 constituent schools in which they provide number of full time courses. The students appearing to this entrance exam should be thorough with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
KIITEE 2012 Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech.(4years)/B.Tech & M.Tech-Dual Degree (5years)/B.Tech & MBA-Dual Degree (5years) Course:
Candidates applying for B.Tech.(4years),B.Tech& M.Tech-DualDegree(5years)& B.Tech & MBA-Dual Degree (5 years) Course should fulfill the following criteria.
1.Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2009,2010 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2011 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 years), B.Tech&M.Tech-Dual Degree(5 years),B.Tech&MBA(5years) course of the University.
2.Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling / college.
3.Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
4.B.Tech & M.Tech(Dual Degree)Biotechnology, Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in physics,chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together.
5.Should have born on or after 01.07.1990.
For B.Tech.-LE (3 years)
Pass in three years diploma course in Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education of any state Or equivalent. Candidates having Diploma in any discipline are eligible to be admitted to any discipline based on merit list.
KIITEE 2012 Application Procedure
KIITEE 2012 Application Form and Prospectus will be available online only. It will not be available in hard copy. Candidates have to apply online at http://www.kiit.ac.in or they can download it from the KIIT website. The ‘KIITEE 2012 Online Application Form’ will be accepted after the following steps are completed:
- Browse KIIT web site http://www.kiit.ac.in
- Select ‘KIITEE 2012 Online Application’ / ‘Download’ option. (If you want to download, take the print out of downloaded Application Form’).
- Go through the Instructions to fill up the KIITEE 2012 form.
- Fill up ‘KIITEE 2012 Online Application Form and submit.
- Take the print out of KIITEE 2012 Registration Form mentioning the Application Number.
- Paste the Photographs in the space provided for it.
- Sign on ‘Signature’ columns both by candidate and parent / guardian.
- Dispatch the KIITEE 2012 Form along with two passport size photographs pasted in appropriate place and 10th pass certificate / Mark sheet.
- Candidates should retain photocopies of ‘printed KIITEE application form 2012′ which may serve as reference for future correspondence.
- The KIITEE online application 2012 will be accepted subject to receipt of printed application, photographs, copy of 10th Pass Certificate/ Mark sheet only.
For downloaded KIITEE Application Form 2012
The candidates have to fill up all the fields very carefully and send it with the photographs and 10th Pass Certificate / Mark sheet. The print out of KIITEE 2012 online registration form or filled in downloaded KIITEE Form 2012 should be submitted in person / by post (Registered Post / Speed Post / Conner) to:

So as to reach on or before Last week of February 2012, 5.00 p.m. Information on receipt of applications at KIIT will be available in the website http://www.kiit.ac.in. Candidates can check KIITEE 2012 Application status of their Application Form for KIITEE 2012 on the KIIT website after 20 days of its dispatch to KIIT.
KIITEE 2012 Admit Card
The Admit Cards will be hosted in the website from date First week of March, 2012 to Third week of March, 2012. In case, the Admit Card is not available in the website within First week of April, 2012. Candidates should write / contact KIIT between First week of April, 2012 to Second week of April, 2012 giving details of the Post Office, date of dispatch, receipt of postal dispatch, Photocopy of the Application Form, one photograph and photocopy of 10th Pass Certificate / Mark sheet. The candidates have to download the admit card from the website and have to come with the printed copy to the examination Centre. Admit Cards will not be dispatched in Hard Copy.
Reservation of seats
For Orissa students: 25% seats reserved (Based on KIITEE 2012 score)
For women: 30% seats reserved including Orissa state (Based on KIITEE 2012 score)
For other states: 45% seats reserved (Based on KIITEE 2012 score)
Note: - All the unfilled reserved seats will be converted to general category.
