I.A.F. Airman Education Instructors Trade Examination
IAF Examination is held twice in a year usually in the month of April/May, August/September.
IAF 2011 Examination Eligibility Criteria
Applicant should have attained 20 years of age and should not crossed 25 years of age for a possibilities carrying B.A./B.Sc. with B.Ed. as a gift & Applicant age should be 20-28 years for a possibilities carrying M.A./M.Sc. as a qualification.
Applicant should be an Indian Citizen or A theme of Bhutan, or A theme of Nepal, or A Tibetan interloper who came over to India prior to a 1st January, 1962 with a goal of henceforth settling in India.
Only Unmarried Indian adults have been eligible to apply.
Applicant should hold B.A. (English / Physics / Computer scholarship with 50% outlines as excellent as B.Ed. or M.A. (English) / M.Sc. (Mathematics / Physics / Computer Science) with at least 50% of aggregate marks.
Physical Standard
Minimum Height: 152.5 cm;
Chest Requirements:
(a) Minimum stretched chest be 75 cm
(b) Minimum operation of expansion-5 cm;
Vision Acuity:
At slightest 6/ twelve in any eye but eyeglasses or 6/6 in improved eye as excellent as 6/36 in worse eye with glasses.
IAF 2011 Examination Application Procedure
- Candidates must apply as per the prescribed format published in the newspapers within the prescribed dates to register for the I.A.F Airman Non Technical Trades Exam.
- All applications must be sent through postal means only.
- Online applications are not accepted.
- Dully filled application forms should be sent to the President Central Airmen Selection Board, Post Box No. 3004, New Delhi-110003.

I.A.F. Airman Technical Trades Examination
Eligibility Criteria:
Unmarried male Indian citizens (subjects of Nepal also) are eligible.
Essential Qualifications: Intermediate/ 10+ 2 / equivalent exam with English, Physics and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate.
Or
Three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology) from a recognized Polytechnic or Institute.
Age Limits: Applicant’s age should be 16 to 21 years in the year of examination.

I.A.F. Airman Non Technical Trades Examination
I.A.F. Airman Non Technical Trades Examination is conducted by Central Airmen Selection Board for recruiting personnel to the Non-Technical Trade categories of the Indian Air Force, the 4th biggest air force in the global after the US, Russia and China. This examination is conducted twice in each year usually in the month of January to June and second from July to December.
