Physics Education Improves When Students Make Their Own Computer Model.. - ScienceDaily (July 2, 2009) — A current trend in secondary science education is for students to learn by discovering for themselves how things work. Computer modelling is a teaching method that fits in nicely with this trend and also with new learning objectives such as scientific literacy, enquiry-based learning and active involvement. Dutch researcher Sylvia van Borkulo has demonstrated that computer modelling is particularly useful for learning complex structures but less effective for learning simple facts. The lesson was about the energy of the Earth (the 'domain'). The group of students using computer modelling created a model of the energy o....

New Model Of Atomic Forces May Help Explain Proton Structure - ScienceDaily (Apr. 24, 1998) — COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Researchers at Ohio State University have developed a new model of atomic forces that may solve a long-standing problem in particle physics. See also: Matter & Energy Quantum Physics Physics Organic Chemistry Engineering Albert Einstein Fuel Cells Reference Proton Subatomic particle Spin (physics) List of phases of matter The work may aid the understanding of the structure of protons and other particles that contain quarks because it begins to reconcile physicist Richard Feynman’s 1970s model of the proton with modern views of the quark structure of sub-atomic particles. “We’re hoping our work will make it easier for people who work with the quark model to calculate a lot of experimental information,” said Kenneth Wilson, professor of physics at Ohio State and 1982 Nobel Laureate in Physics. “Right now, the equations that describe proton structure are very complicated.” Wilson helps to lead the research group for this proje....

Does anyone have any science fair ideas for 5th grade?   The Hitch Science Building houses offices, classrooms and labs for most of departments in the School of Sciences, including biology, chemistry, computer science, math and physics. The close proximity of class, lab and faculty work space allows students to experience first-hand the connectedness of all sciences.

Working model on class ninth science physics Questions & Answers

Question : i m in class 8 i have to make a working model please give some idia.

Answer : Some ideas? Glad to assist. I think you are trying to make a working model for a science project. First, you have to decide, which branch of science e.g. physics, chemistry, or biology/zoology. Physics - simple pulleys, levers, fulcrums that illustrate how mankind overcome their physical limitations using the above principles. Chemistry - acid/alkali nature of everyday products like soap etc and their chemical nature and properties. Biology/Zoology - Germinating bean shoots and illustrating properties of monocotyledons e.g tap roots as different to fibrous roots. Use illustrations on cardboards, create interest and excitement e.g have the different stages of the plant growth by growing them on different days to illustrate the different stage of growth. The same can be said of Mosquito development, frog etc. Good Luck. Have fun doing them.

Question : please give me each and every instruction to make the model and precautions also so that i can make the model and submit it to my teacher

Answer : It really depends on what kind of physics model you want to create.
