Food webs show the transfer of energy between one organism and multiple other organisms(bird eats bugs and seeds and is eaten by fox and hawk). Food pyramids show the different trophic levels in an ecosystem and the transfer of energy from one level to the next (show decrease of energy in higher trophic levels). 2. A food web shows more relationships then a food chain. It's basically food chains put together. An energy pyramid shows the transfer and decrease of energy in trophic levels. A killer whale could be at the fifth trophic level and so could a hawk. Basically top carnivores.
