Explosives preparations and their uses Definition
Copper(II) azide - Copper(II) azide is a medium density explosive with the molecular formula Cu( N 3) 2. Uses Copper azide is very explosive and can be used in pyrotechnics. Preparation Copper azide can be prepared from copper(II) nitrate (Cu(NO 3) 2) and sodium azide...
Lead(II) azide - Lead azide ( Pb( N 3) 2) is an inorganic compound. More so than other azide s, Pb(N|3|)|2 is explosive. It is used in detonator s to initiate secondary explosive s. In a commercially usable form, it is a white-to-buff powder. Preparation and handling Lead azide is prepared by metathesis..
Use forms of explosives - Explosive material s are produced in numerous physical forms for their use in mining, engineering, or military applications. The different physical forms and fabrication methods are grouped together in several Use forms of explosives. Explosives are sometimes used in their pure forms, but..
Explosive exercise - Explosive Exercise Training Explosive exercise is a form of exercise that emphasizes maximum rate of force production. Traditional strength training exercises, such as squats, can be used for explosive exercises. In fact, exercises that involve several large muscle groups are preferred...
Purdue Chemists Give An Old Laboratory 'Bloodhound' A Sharper Nose - ScienceDaily (Oct. 18, 2004) — WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University chemists have developed a fast, efficient means of analyzing chemical samples found on surfaces, resulting in a device that could impact everything from airport security to astrobiology to forensic science. See also: Matter & Energy Chemistry Biometric Inorganic Chemistry Detectors Forensic Research Physics Reference Spectroscopy Mass spectrometry Chemistry Nanorobotics A team, including R. Graham Cooks, has improved the mass spectrometer, a device well known to chemists for its ability to provide information on the composition of unknown substances. Mass spectrometers, essential tools in any modern chemistry lab, are often used by law enforcement to test suspicious-looking residues that could indicate the presence of explosives or drugs inside packages. But while most mass spectrometers are unwieldy, cabinet-sized machines that require samples to undergo hours of intensive preparation before testing, Cooks’ ....

10 Minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Workout   www.hiitmantraining.com This workout consists of 8 rounds of medicine ball burpees, using the Tabata Protocol (20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest per round). After completion of this exercise, there is a 60 second rest period. Then, begin the next exercise with countdowns using pushups and explosive jumps. Countdowns are simply intervals workouts that start with 10 reps for each movement have a 10 second rest period between 'sets.' Each successive set starts with one less rep. Once you reach 5 reps, eliminate the rest period between sets. If you're very pressed for time, this workout will deliver. Prepare to sweat and breathe heavy. Once this becomes easy for you, simply add more intervals to the burpee exercise and do explosive pushups for all intervals in the countdowns. You definitely need an interval timer for this exercise program. The one I use can be picked up at www.gymintervaltimer.com
Explosives preparations and their uses Questions & Answers
Question : At pressures above 65 tonnes/ square centimetre and temperatures above 1500 Celsius, diamond is the stable allotrope of carbon. Would it be practicable to make it by packing charcoal and a charge of high explosive into a very strong container, like a thick steel shell, drilling a hole in the ground, burying the shell and detonating it?
Answer : Industrial diamonds are prepared by converting common forms of carbon into diamonds, by using high pressures and temperature. These diamonds have the physical properties of diamonds but do not have any of the features that make diamonds attractive as gems.

Question : Do you need a license to buy or own a black powder hand gun or rifle, such as a reproduction musket or the famous 'Ruger Old Army'?
Do you need a license to purchase black powder itself?
Do you have to shoot at a recognised society/ shooting range?
Thanks.
Answer : 1. This Act may be cited as 'The Explosives Act, 1875.' 3. This Act shall apply to gunpowder and other explosives as defined by this section. The term 'explosive' in this Act- (1) Means gunpowder, nitro-glycerine, dynamite, gun-cotton, blasting powders, fulminate of mercury or of other metals, coloured fires, and every other substance, whether similar to those above-mentioned or not, used or manufactured with a view to produce a practical effect by explosion or a pyrotechnic effect; and (2) Includes fog-signals, fireworks, fuzes, rockets, percussion caps, detonators, cartridges, ammunition of all descriptions, and every adaptation or preparation of an explosive as above defined. PART I.-LAW RELATING TO GUNPOWDER General Law as to Manufacture and Keeping of Gunpowder 4. The manufacture of gunpowder shall not, nor shall any process of such manufacture, be carried on except at a factory for gunpowder either lawfully existing or licensed for the same under this Act. Provided..

Question : How pure is the Ammonium Nitrate in the medical instant cold packs? The cold packs I have weigh about 1lb each and I got them pretty cheap, I wonder would the be a cheaper alternative to regular AN for the use of making tannerite?
btw, for those would may want to report this question believing Qs on how to make explosives, tannerite is 100% legal in the USA, if used safely and manufactured legally.
Answer : Dissolving the Ammonium nitrate salt into water is an endothermic reaction that provides the cooling. The purity of the salt does not need to be very high (look at the difference between table salt and rock salt for Sodium chloride). In terms of using impure Ammonium nitrate for the preparation of Tannerite, without knowing the amount and nature of the impurities, it might be foolish to use this. There are much purer sources for Ammonium nitrate available, including agricultural fertilizer. For your information: Using home-made explosive devices is not the same as buying and using official rifle targets from the Tannerite Company. Do not believe everything you see on the Internet. First find out what is legal in your locality. This might save you a felony charge.
