Question : I need help because I have to read this book for ap us history and I can't get through it. The vocabulary is grade level higher than me cause it's an 11th grade class and i'm 10th and I can't the sentences are long and complicted. Any advice for trying to comprehend this book?
Answer : Keep several different color highlighters on hand , and a 4 color ink pen, and take ridicules notes, and mark and height the book, use one color for people, another for places, underline or star passages that need further research, keep a running list of words your not familiar with, look them up, try making a Cliff note version for yourself. Also looking it up on Wikipedia and reading more about the book on the internet can be of help, like looking at the box when your trying to put together a puzzle
