Admission test for Commonwealth Executive MBA
CEMAT entrance test conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University for admission to the Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration (CEMBA) and Commonwealth Executive Master of Public Administration (CEMPA) programs. The Commonwealth Executive MBA/MPA has been open since mid-2002 through collaboration between the four premier South Asian open universities: Indira Gandhi National Open University, (IGNOU - India), Bangladesh Open University (BOU - Bangladesh), Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL - Sri Lanka), and Allama Iqbal Open University(AIOU - Pakistan).
The Admission Test (CEMAT) is deliberated to provide an additional dimension of measurement for the selection of candidates for this rigorous and demanding programme of study. CEMAT is conducted twice in a year usually in the month of June and December.
CEMAT 2012 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should be a graduate of a recognized university in India or aboard or have an equivalent professional qualification
- Candidates should have a minimum two years of post qualification work experience at the supervisory or management level
- Candidates should be a resident of India or a Commonwealth country
- Candidates should have sound working knowledge of English as the programme is offered only in English
- Candidate should have satisfactory score on the CEMBA/CEMPA admission test.

CEMAT 2012 Admission Procedure
Applicants effectively finishing the admission test shall be suitable for admission for the next 2 cycles for which the test scores are valid. After getting your score card and successfully qualifying the same, you need to fill the admission form given. Validation period for the candidate to get registered for the program from the date of admission will be 5 years. A candidate can be eligible for the re-test only by paying the fee for the balance courses. This fee payment for the re-test is done only if a candidate unable to complete the program in 5 years.

CEMAT 2012 Exam Dates
CEMAT admission test will be held 2 times a year, in the month of June and December.
Duration of the Program
The minimum duration for successful completion of the programme is two years and maximum is five years.

- Develop quality post-graduate programs that can be implemented widely in Commonwealth countries and can be recognized across the Commonwealth;
- Enable students in the Commonwealth countries, where the programs are offered, to obtain Masters degrees in the areas of Business Administration, contributing to their professional growth and career advancement and to their country’s development; and
- Develop human resources
