B.Sc in Dairy Technology

Dairy Technology comprise all the methods required for managing milk's production and its consumption, processing, storage, packaging, physical distribution and transport. All this utilities the study of nutrition, biochemistry, and bacteriology. The course includes three basic areas such as Dairy Engineering, Dairy Bacteriology and Dairy Chemistry.
Only the technological aspects of milk / product are dealt in Dairy Engineering. Products' quality and standards are maintained in Dairy Bacteriology and in the Dairy Chemistry the specific dairy products' milk and cream content ratio is maintained.

The objective of the course study is to prevent spoilage, improve quality, increase shelf-life and make milk palatable and safe for human consumption.
