BIEAP 2011 Examination Pattern

Board of Intermediate Education AP conducts examination at the end of 1st year course and at the end of 2nd year course.

In the 1^st year the candidates are examined in Part-I English, Part-II Second Language and Part-III Group subjects for 500 marks.

There are 3 groups in Intermediate Education. It also offers various 2 year vocational courses.

Arts Groups

For 1^st year the examination is for 500 marks in the 1^st year and 500 in the 2^nd year.

1. Maths, Physics and Chemistry Group

• 470 marks in the 1^st year and 530 marks in the 2^nd year

2. Biology, Physics and Chemistry Group

• 440 marks in the 1^st year and 560 marks in the 2^nd year.  

The percentage of pass marks in each paper is 35.

BIEAP 2011 Grading System

Based on their performance in all the papers of 1^st and 2^nd year they will get their division. Division system is as follows:

• I Division: 60% and Above

• II Division: 50% to 60%

• III Division: 35% to 50%

BIEAP 2011 Syllabus

The subjects covered in the Intermediate Board of Examination are

Part I: English

Part II: Second Languages ( Telgu, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Arabic, French, Tamil, Kannada, Oriya and Marathi)

Part III: Optional Subjects ( Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Commerce, Economics, Civics, History, Psychology, Public Administration, Logic, Sociology, Geography and Geology). Modern Language Subjects ( English, Telgu, Hindi and Urdu).
