Annamalai University All India Medical Entrance Examinations
Annamalai University – All India Medical Entrance exam (AU-AIMEE) is conducted for the admission of students for various medical courses. A common Entrance Examination will hold in selected Centers in Tamil Nadu the Annamalai University.

2. B.D.S
3. B.P.T
4. B.Sc (Nursing)
5. B.Pharm
AU AIMEE 2011 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as a medium of subjects.
Candidates who are appearing for class 12th exams are also eligible to apply.
The Candidate should have attained the age of 17 at the time of submitting application.
AU AIMEE 2011 Application Procedure
Cost of Applications Form Rs.300/- (including Registration Fee)
Applicants can obtain application forms by Cash payment directly at the University Cash Counter on all working Days, (Holidays, All Saturday, Sunday and other Government Holidays).
Candidates can also obtain the application through post by sending a request letter for application form along with a Demand Draft for Rs.300/-
The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University Annamalainagar 608 002 from any other Bank Payable at Chennai and a self-addressed Kraft Envelop of Size 35 cm x 15 cm with Stamps affixed to the value of Rs.15/-
AU AIMEE 2011 Selection Procedure
Admission of the students will be based on the marks obtained in the relevant Subjects in the Qualifying Examinations (H.Sc. OR Equivalent) and the performance in the Entrance Examinations, besides an Interview to be conducted by the University.
The selection of students is based on the following weightage:
i)Qualifying Examinations 200 Marks
ii)Entrance Examination 100 Marks
iii)Interview 30.
AU AIMEE 2011 Important Dates
Availability of focus forms – March 1st week to April 1st week, 2011
Deadline for taking of focus forms by a university – 2nd week of April, 2011
Date of hearing – 1st week of May, 2011
AU AIMEE 2011 Test Pattern
AU AIMEE Entrance exam consists of 2 papers namely,
1. Biology (Botany & Zoology)
2. Physics & Chemistry
Syllabus will be from class 12th Tamil Nadu HSc. Syllabus.
