Combined Pre Medical Test UPCPMT is conducted for admission to various Government aided and non aided colleges in courses like Medical, Dental, Homeopathic, and Ayurvedic. This exam is basically conducted by University of Lucknow on the behalf of Uttar Pradesh Government and is conducted each year for all those students who aspire to take admission to medical courses already listed. This year UPCPMT invites applications for the admission to 2010 batch, more details about the examination are given below.

UPCPMT 2010 Eligibility
The candidate should have passed the 10+2 level of examination from UP Board or any other Board / University or an equivalent examination with physics chemistry and biology. The applicant should be a citizen of India and a bonafide (permanent) resident of the State of Uttar Pradesh.
The candidate should be Madhyama Examination Passed from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi.
The candidate must pass their Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination passed with Urdu.
The eligibility conditions will be as specified by the Medical Council of India.
UPCPMT 2010 How to Apply
Application Forms/Brochure costing Rs.665/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 365/- for SC/ST candidates are available at all Head Post Offices of all Districts of Uttar Pradesh and at two Districts of Uttarakhand State i.e. Dehradun and Nainital.

UPCPMT Examination Pattern
The UP CPMT entrance test paper comprise of the sections like physics, chemistry, botany and zoology with a set of all objective types of questions. The examination will be conducted in two parts.
Paper I: The first paper will contain questions from Zoology and Botany.
Paper II: The second paper will have questions from Chemistry and Physics.
The short listed candidates are called for an interview and group discussion.
UP CPMT entrance test follows the intermediate (10+2) pattern followed by most boards across India. Questions are asked from physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. The questions are based in the standard of intermediate level.
