Question: Step 2-CK NO more in OVERSEAS & Step 1,2-CK validity 3 y

Dear Friends,

Recently I heard rumors that Step 2 CK now(from 2004 end-2005 onwards) no more to be conducted in overseas countries excluding USA/CANADA & they people planning to make Step 2 CK & CS in one single step ! Is it true?

Also rumors are spreading across that validilty of Step 1 & 2-CK will be lessened to 3 years instead of previous 7 years validity ! What about this one?

WHAT CHANGE IS THAT

TOEFL + CSA has been abandoned and NOW only STEP 2 CS (clinical skills is in place of them) CSA was as such never conducted anywhere outside US...so where is the change????


So you need

STEP 1, STEP 2
STEP 2 CS

to get an ecfmg certification,

ADD STEP 3 in select boards (states) to be eligible for an H1B visa
