SRCC Cut Off

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), a leading institute in India for higher studies in Commerce and Economics, came into existence in the year 1920. The college is affiliated to Delhi University. The college offers the Undergraduate courses such as B.A. in Economics and B.Com, and Post Graduate Courses such as M.A in Economics, M.Com. and PG Diploma in GBO.

The details regarding the division of categories and the eligibility criteria are given in the following tables. The first table gives the division of category for B.Com. (Hons.) degree.  The second table gives the details of B.A. (Hons.) Economics degree course.

To clarify, if a candidate in Category E has 97% marks, his marks are equivalent to 93% marks in Category A.

Cut Off Marks at SRCC

Candidates should score really well in the Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination to get admission to the Undergraduate courses offered by SRCC. The 2010 cut off marks for admission to B.Com and B.A Economics degree courses are provided in the following tables.

Admission Procedure for Undergraduate Courses 

The admission procedure for the undergraduate courses in SRCC generally begins from May/June. The candidates who wish to join SRCC can register themselves for the courses of their interest with the college by submitting an application form that is available from the college. A minimum cut off percentage for each course will be decided by the college. Candidates who are eligible for admission on the basis of cut-off percentage should contact the college for completing the admission formalities.

Candidates who seek admission under the reserved category should register with the University of Delhi for admission since the registration is done directly by the University of Delhi. Candidates who seek admission on sports basis should submit an application form that is separate from the main application form.

Admission Procedure for Postgraduate Courses

The admission procedure for the Postgraduate courses such as M.Com and M.A Economics starts in May/June every year. The concerned Department of the University of Delhi handles the admission process that begins with the Registration of Candidates and Conduct of Test.

For admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operations (GBO), the candidates can apply in a prescribed application form. The admission procedure generally starts in the month of November. An admission test will be conducted on January. On the basis of merit, candidates will be invited for group discussion and personal interview. The admission procedure will be completed by April and the academic semester begins from July.
