NIOS - Extension of admission dates for Secondary & Senior Secondary Courses 2007-08

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) offers school education at Secondary and Sr. Secondary (10th and 12th) level through Open and Distance Learning mode.
All the interested learners, especially school dropouts out of school children, working youth including girls can avail the flexible schemes of NIOS. The Extension of admission dates is as under.
(a) At Accredited Institutions (AIs/Study Centres)
- Last date extended up to 10th September, 2007 with late fee of Rs.100/-
b) Online Admission for all learners (Stream 1)
- Last date extended up to 10th September, 2007 with late fee of Rs.100/-
c) Online Admission for On Demand Examination System (ODES) for Secondary level (Stream 3)
- Available round the year.
Prospectus with Application Form for Admissions at a cost of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) can be obtained from Accredited Institutions (AI/ Study Centres), Regional Centres and Sale counters at NIOS Headquarters, New Delhi.
Address of Regional Centres and list of Accredited Institutions (AIs) can be seen on the NIOS Website www.nos.org or www.nios.ac.in.
The Prospectus and Admission form is also available at NIOS Website.
In case of downloadable form, pay Rs.50/- extra in addition to admission fee.
- Admission will be strictly on first-come-first served basis at the AIs.
- For eligibility criteria for admission and scheme of studies as well as for complete information about Online Admission log on to NIOS websites.
- Purchase of Prospectus and filling up of an Application Form does not vest any right for admission.
