MPSC

 

Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is a  government authority to conduct civil services exams in Maharashtra. The MPSC consist of chairman and members. The chairman of commission is appointed by the governor of the state. The main responsibilities of MPSC are 


  (I) To conduct examinations for appointments to the service of the state.

  (II) To advice the state Government on :


  [a] Matters relating to methods of recruitment to the various services.


  [b] Principles to be followed in and the suitability of candidates for appointment to the services and in making promotions and transfers from one service to another ;

  [c] Disciplinary matters affecting Government servants;


  [d] Claims for reimbursement of legal expenses incurred by Government servants while defending legal proceedings instituted against them for acts done or purporting to be done in the execution of their duties.


  [e] Claims for award of injury/family pension to Government servants and;


  [f] Any other matter referred to them by the Governor;

I completed my BDS in 2008.I would like to know the procedure for applying for a job as a dentist in government sector. Are there any exams that I need to give or any interview I should apply for??

i passed out dentist in 2009 i want to know abt vacancys for post of dentist
