Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) :
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission come into existence under Section 118(3) of the States Reorganization Act on 1st November 1956. First chairman of MPPSC was Shri D.V. Rege, ICS (Retired). At present the chairman of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission is Prof. Pradeep Kumar Joshi. Function of MPPSC The main function of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission is recruitment in civil services of Madhya Pradesh.
Recruitment by MPPSC is done through Direct Selection; Promotions; Transfer of services on deputation from one department to another or from one State Government to another. Eligibility :The competitive exam for MPPSC is conducted in two stages MPPSC Preliminary Examination MPPSC Main Examination Eligibility for MPPSC Examinations Candidate should be an India. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission announces the results of examinations and departmental test through public advertisement in news papers as well publish on the official website of commission.
