Avadh University Faizabad Exam Scheme

Avadh University was renamed as Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University in memory of late Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, the leader of socio-economic ideology and freedom fighter. Avadh University was established by the government of Uttar Pradesh in 1975. It is an affiliating university. Avadh University became the residential University in 1984. Avadh University was started with four departments in the campus such as history, Culture and Archaeology, Rural Economics, Mathematics and Statistics and Solid State Physics. 

Avadh University is recognized by University Grant Commission and also eligible to get financial assistance from UGC. Avadh University is also associated with the research institute abroad specifically with the Abudus Salam International Center for the theoretical Physics, Trieste (Italy). Many of its faculty members visited the center related to the research activities.

The affiliated colleges of the University are spread over in the nine districts of Faizabad, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Ambedkarnagar, Barabanki, Balrampur, Baharaich, Shravasti and Gonda also add to the magnitude and strength of the University. Avadh University has been offering Under Graduate and Post Graduate studies and researches in the disciplines of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences and M.B.A. Besides, the subjects of Extension Education & Rural Development, Mass Communication & Journalism, M.S.W., Library Science and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), P.G. Diploma in fashion designing are also running campus. Avadh University also offers M.Sc. in Biotechnology, M.Sc. in computer science, M.A, M.Sc. in military Science, M.T.A., M.Sc. in Mathematical Ecology & Environment studies and BBA and BCA at undergraduate level.
