AP CEEP Polytechnic Web Counseling

AP CEEP Communication, Electronic and Electromechanical Products of Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (AP CEEP)  as conducted final phase of web based counseling for those who have qualified in AP CEEP-2011 for admission into Diploma Courses sanctioned as II Shift in AP CEEP Private Engineering colleges and for the existing vacancies and consequential vacancies which may arise in AP CEEP Polytechnics during allotment.

The Slate Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad will conduct ‘Common Entrance Examination for admission into Polytechnics CEEP 2011 for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering, Non Engineering, and Technology offered at Polytechnics in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2011-2012.

Eligibility for AP CEEP

Candidates who have passed SSC or its equivalent & recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P and Hyderabad are eligible. The candidates who have compartmental passed or appearing for SSC they are also eligible to apply.

Detailed information regarding eligibility, age and syllabi etc are given in the CEEP 2011 Booklet which is abounding along with ICR form and is available for sale at a cost of Rs.20/- from the Principals of Govt Polytechnics, Private Polytechnics and AP online centers.

Andhrapradesh CEEP-2011 Polytechnic Web Counselling Stared from today at http://apceep.nic.in/default.aspx. Detailed Notification about the AP CEEP Web Counseling 2011 announced few day ago. We gathered the information from the official website and we are given for you. Before proceeding, candidate need to register him self by Candidates Registration. Failing which it is not possible to Login. After the completion of Registration by Candidates Login you can simply make a move to freeze your desired options.

On the last day CEEP Web Counseling 2011 of schedule options last exercised by you, will be frozen and you should take a print out. If you wish to change the options once again after freezing, approch any one of the help line centers on 11/07/2011 to modify your frozen options. This is the final opportunity and after this no further change can be done. The options recorded in the server on the last day will be considered for allotment of seats.

AP CEEP 2011 Certificate Verification

The Qualified candidates of Ceep2011 are informed that admission into Polytechnic will be conducted based on Web Counseling. The detailed procedure of web counseling and other instructions can be had from the Help Line Centres on the day of Certificate Verification. Accordingly the qualified candidates of CEEP-2011 and Non qualified Minority Candidates who have applied to the Convenor based on SSC Marks are informed to attend for certificate Verification in any on the Help Line Centres indicated below and as per the schedule given under, with aoo original certificates like S.S.C or its equlvalent Marks memo, IV to X Study Certificate, Income Certificate issued and Caste Certificate issued by competent authority and also PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority /Anglo-indian Certificate if applicable.

The candidates of SC/ST category have to pay Rs.150/- while OC/BC/Mirnority candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- towards processing Fee. While OC/BC/Minority candidates have to pay tuition fee, if any, prescribed by the Government. The SC/ST/BC/Mirnority/PH and other category candidates (as ordered by the Govt. from time to time) are eligible for reimbursement of Tuition fee if parental income from all sources is up to repees one lakh per annum. However, these candidates have to pay SBTET recognition fee as prescribed.

Certificate verification for PH, CAP, NIC Sports & Games and Anglo-Indian Category Candidates wil be held at Sankethika Vidya Bhavan, Masabtank, Hyderabad only as per the schedule given below.

AP CEEP 2011 web councelling Process

Step 1

Candidate Registration: Click Candidate Registration first to generate login password. To generate login password enter ICR Form No :(Registration number top on certificate receive form), Rank :(rank in ceep 2010), CEEP Hall Ticket No, and Date of Birth. Chose password one number compulsory. Remember Password carefully.

Step 2

Candidate login: Login to choose option by entering ICR Form No (Registration number), CEEP Hall Ticket No, Password, and Date of Birth. Click Accept in bottom of the page, you enter in District page. Select district in your options list. enter into option entry page.

Step 3

After choosing opting priority wise save the options. Take print of selected options.

CEEP 2011 Schedule for Exercising Options

Schedule for Exercising Web Options:

1) 05-07-2011 and 06-07-2011: Ranks from 1 to 50000

2) 07-07-2011 and 08-07-2011: Ranks from 50001 to 120000

3) 09-07-2011 and 10-07-2011: Ranks from 120001 to Last Rank

4) 11-07-2011: Chance to change frozen options

Seat Allotment for CEEP 2011 will be done on 14th July 2011 after 6 PM. Candidates have to enter ICR form number, Hall Ticket Number, Password and date of birth certificate in candidate’s login. You need to download allotment order and Challan form for the payment of fee. Those allotted seat have to report to Polytechnic concerned n or before 21st July 2011. Classes for Polytechnic students will start from 21st July 2011.

More than one candidate should not login from the same Computer/ Browser at the same time.

After completing options entry, Always LOGOUT properly and close the Browser.

All candidates can exercise options for minority institutions. However allotment to them will be made subject to availability of seats after exhausting concerned minority students.

Update to Polytechnics (CEEP - 2011)

Candidates can exercise options till 07:00 AM of Date: 27/10/2011. AP CEEP 2011 Final Phase allotment orders will be place in their official website @ http://apceep.nic.in on 28th Oct, 2011(according to Notification).

Procedure for Applying

State Board of Technical Education and Training, AP, Hyderabad has made arrangements to accept online application forms at various AP online or Helpline centers, CSCs. In order to file application through these centers an application fee of Rs.310/- has to be paid to the operator by the candidate.

Who should participate in AP CEEP

1) Candidates who secured a seat in earlier phases of Web based counseling and who wish to move to some other college/course of his/her choice.

2) Candidates who participated earlier phases of Web based counseling and could not secure a seat.

3) Candidates qualified in AP CEEP-10 but did not participate in earlier phases of Web based counseling.

Web Counseling Procedure in AP CEEP

I PREAMBLE

The Department of Technical Education is conducting admission of Candidates into various diploma level Engineering and Non-Engineering Courses who passed SSC or its Equivalent and qualified in AP CEEP (Common Entrance Examination for Polytechnics). During the last year 39000 seats were available for the candidates and since there is a great demand for skilled supervisors in various industries, Government has decided to increase the seats to nearly 60000 by establishing new polytechnics and conducting second shift in polytechnics and private engineering colleges.

II RATIONALE FOR WEB COUNSELING

The process of inviting the qualified candidates of AP CEEP and allotting a seat as per their option is known as Counseling. Till last year candidate used to attend in any one of the 8 Counseling Centres for securing a seat in a polytechnic. In this process candidates have to travel all the way to report at any one of the  ounseling centres more than once and it is also a time consuming process.

III WHAT IS WEB COUNSELING

For the Convenience of the Candidates from the academic year 2009-10, Government has decided to adopt a total web based counseling procedure where a candidate can exercise options i.e. candidate can select a polytechnic and course which he/she intends to study, through internet centre or internet facility available at his/her residence and where access to such facility is not available, from any one of the help line centers established by Govt in the districts. Such help line centers will be availble in each district.

IV STAGES OF WEB COUNSELING

1. Issue of Notification: The Director of Technical Education (DTE) issues a notification during first week of June 2010, in prominent news papers indicating the date wise ranks of the candidates who have to attend for Registration, Verification of Certificates and Schedule for Exercising options and DTE will also notify the list of Help-line Centres. Candidates who fail to report for registration and Certificates verification will not be considered for allotment of seats in any of the polytechnics.

2. Certificate Verification: Candidates should produce the following certificates
a) Hall ticket

b) Rank

c) SSC or Equivalent marks memo

d) Study/Bonafide Certificate from III to X Class

e) Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)

f) Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 01.01.2010 should also be submitted (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption).

g) PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)

h) Transfer Certificate.

Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centres after Verification.

3. Exercising Options: After Certificate Verification in Help-line Centres, a Blank Option Form (speciman), List of Polytechnics with the courses offered by them and course codes will be given to all the Candidates. Based on the Course Codes and polytechnic Codes, Candidates may list out polytechnic in order of preference, the courses which they intend to give options for. For the reference of the candidates , the last rank up to which candidates were admitted in different polytechnics/courses in the previous academic year would be made availble to candidates on the web site. The candidate should first prepare a priority number with a list of courses in the blank option form before he/she attempts to enter the options on the web. Candidates can exercise any number of options. After the finalising the options, he is advised to take print out of the final option form for his/her record. Help-Line Centres shall demonstrate the detailed procedure of Exercising Options immediately after the certificate verification.

4.Final Allotments of Seats: Based on the options excercised, seat allotment will be made as per merit rank and category (SC/ST/BC/PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and games quota etc ) of the candidate. The final Allotments will be placed on the Web on the scheduled date announced before hand and the Candidates will have to down load the allotment order from the web site.

5.Payment of Seats & and Reporting at Polytechnic: Candidates, with downloaded allotment order, have to remit the fee in one of the designated banks and obtain a receipt. After that candidate with allotment order and Fee receipts have to report at the respective Polytechnics where the Seat is allotted on or before the dates specified in the allotment order. If Candidate fails to report for admission at the allotted polytechnic by the dates stipulated, the allotment stands cancelled and candidate will have no claim for further allotment of seats
