13,000 Vacancies In Govt, MCD Schools

Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Education Department has published an employment notification to recruit 2512 Teachers (Primary) and Teachers (Primary-Urdu) for the Schools of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (M.C.D) . MCD Teacher Recruitment 2011 has announced 14,000 Vacancies in Govt Schools Under Delhi Budget - March 23, 2011. In keeping with the children-friendly Budget, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit announced 14,000 vacancies for the teaching staff in government schools — the largest job opening in government sector in a long time. The move is aimed at complementing Delhi government’s efforts towards increasing infrastructure for implementation of the Right to Education Act.

Applications are invited from interested candidates, who fulfill the eligibility conditions of the post concerned, for engagement as mcd contract teacher vacancy 2011 for a short period upto 06/08/2010 or till the select list is received from DSSSB whichever is earlier, on a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs.9500/-.

Educational Qualification

Intermediate or Senior Secondary ( 10+2) or equivalent with 50% from recognized University / Institute / Board ( 45% marks for SC/ST/PH)

B.EI.Ed from recognized institute or two year Diploma / Certificate in ETE / JBT are also eligible.

Candidates who are applying for post of Teacher (Primary) should have Hindi as a subject at Secondary level and Urdu as subject at Secondary level for the candidates who are applying for Teacher (Primary-Urdu)

Desirable : Knowledge of Computer and English

Age : Between 20 to 27 year

Selection Process : It is based on Merit. The criteria to determine the merit list will be 50 Marks from the best five subjects in Senior Secondary or equivalent and 50 Marks for ETE / JBT / B.EI.Ed or equivalent. Total Marks is 100.
